| Although designed to work on moth, Moth Shield does affect other insects and is known to kill carpet beetle.

| We utilise automatic dispensers in the works which spray every 20 minutes, here the canisters last between 3 & 4 months so a single canister should last some considerable time - regular daily use will empty the canister in 9 - 12 months |

Install the Moth Shield defence system:-

Replacement canister will be required about every 3 - 4 months

| I have a serious Moth infestation - what should I do? |
Dealing with it yourself:-
1 - Follow Health & Safety guidelines
2 - Spray under and over all the rug 3 times per day for at least 5 days
If the infestation is not coming under control, the rug needs to come to the works for Moth Baking and/or cleansing.

| How many canisters do I need? |
| Suggest you purchase only 1 x canister as it will last for 9 - 12 months single daily use. If more are required, we can always ship within 24 hours.

| Can I use Moth Shield on other fabrics such as clothing? |
| Yes you can.
Follow Health & Safety guidelines
Spray onto floor of cupboard NOT ONTO CLOTHES (as this might stain the fabric) at least once a day preferably in the evening
Repeat for at least 5 days
If moth infestation returns, repeat the treatment.

| How do I use Moth Shield? |
Please use it wisely – in accord with Health & Safety requirements.
For Carpets & Rugs
If you’re using just the canister, for greatest effect:-
- Spray well under the carpet/rug so that the vapour percolates through the fibres and thereby kills any moth deep inside
- Lightly over spray the carpet/rug to continue the effect
For maximum efficiency and rapid response against the moth:-
- Close the room for a few hours so that the Moth Shield vapour gradually works its way around the room rather than dissipate out.
- Repeat the treatment twice daily (once in the morning, once at night) until the infestation has gone.
For future protection once this infestation has gone:-
- Spray once a week to deter any future infestation or kill any that may have started.
For clothes
- Place 3 x sheets of white, unprinted paper kitchen towel on top of each other to form a wad, on the floor of your wardrobe or drawer
- From 1 foot away apply 2 x bursts of Moth Shield to dampen the wad
- Close the cupboard and the vapour percolates through the fibres and thereby kills any moth deep inside
For future protection once this infestation has gone:-
Repeat the above weekly or irregularly to deter any future infestation or kill any that may have started.

| Does Moth Shield harm young children or pets? |
| According to our data sheets - NO
But if you are going to use in an area where children or pets are regularly active - it would be sensible to use the Moth Shield in the normal way but close the room off for at least 2 hours.
